*This novel group will be focusing on using socratic seminars to study the text closely in advance, listen actively, share ideas and questions in response to the ideas and questions of others, and search for evidence in the text to support their ideas.

Betsy Zane, the Rose of Fort Henry

*This novel group's focus will be on cultural diversity, courage, family, and gender roles during the late 1700s

The Fighting Ground

*This novel group's focus will be on summarizing and making connections
