*Thank you to all our volunteers who helped with the lung lab on Wednesday!
*Thursday, the students will have a virtual view of the preparation for the 2017 President Inauguration through Discovery Education. They will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes of what a White House transition looks like. While viewing this, they will be able to explore what it's like to live at the White House and see how the White House staff moves one president out, and the new president in.

*No specific skill will be taught this week as the students will be working on applying the skills they've been taught the last few months in their middle of the year writing anchors.
Zebra on the Loose Article
*Students will be given multiple fictional interviews about a zebra on the loose. They will collect as much information as they can from the interviews they read and then create a newspaper article based on their findings using text evidence.
*Once students have analyzed interviews regarding a "Zebra on the Loose", they will then write an article from a journalist's perspective based on what they were told and could infer
*Finals will be due this Wednesday

Essential Question: How have places and regions in the United States been influenced by the physical geography of North America over time?
