HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!!! We will not have school Wednesday - Friday. Have a great, relaxing, and quick break!

*Class Party will be on Monday - We will be having ice cream and watching Star Wars: A New Hope!

*Design Thinking Challenge: Special Olympics

Purpose: Specifically foster students' developing sense of empathy, and overall to learn about design thinking. Students will learn to immerse themselves in learning from experts.

- The students interviewed two local Special Olympians (as pictured below) to continue empathizing to their needs and know what their struggles are and how they overcame them

- They then met with the parents of those two Special Olympians so they can continue their questions

- After our interviewing is complete, we will synthesize information to develop a point of view statement and generate potential ideas

- We will go over various ways to research and the reasoning behind the methods this week
