*Design Thinking Challenge: Special Olympics
Purpose: Specifically foster students' developing sense of empathy, and overall to learn about design thinking. Students will learn to immerse themselves in learning from experts.
- This week, the students will be interviewing two local Special Olympians to continue empathizing to their needs and know what their struggles are and how they overcame them
***MRS. DANIEL'S FIELD TRIP IS THIS WEDNESDAY! MAKE SURE ALL FIELD TRIP FORMS ARE TURNED IN MY TUESDAY IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED YOURS IN ALREADY!
*We will be deconstructing more WCOs this week so they have more meaning to what the students are being assessed on

*Math's Mate Test is on Friday
- Students have a review all week to help them study for this assessment

Pet Peeves
*Before break, the students were writing about their biggest pet peeve. Describing and explaining why that one instance is so irritating to them. Their finals are due on Tuesday.
BOY Writing Anchors
*Now that we've gone over multiple writing techniques, we will be pulling out the students Beginning of the Year Writing Anchors and start editing and revising those papers this week

*Students will begin their Living Systems Unit with Ms. Beck this week
