*Design Thinking Challenge: Special Olympics
Purpose: Specifically foster students' developing sense of empathy, and overall to learn about design thinking. Students will learn to immerse themselves in learning from experts.
*Thank you for making Personalized Pathway's Day last Thursday a success! All the students were able to get their reading and math goals set. This week we will work on our writing goals. The students will share their goals with you at conferences next week. Watch out for a conference sign-up coming soon!
Math:
Chapter 2: MULTIPLY WHOLE NUMBERS

Literacy:
*This week the students will have the chance to go back through all of their quick writes from DLI Weeks 1-3. They will choose one to turn in as their final August Assessment score after they have had the chance to make any corrections needed.
*Vocab packets are located in your child's vocabulary google classroom - their first vocabulary packet will be due this Wednesday on September 7th - this will also be test day for their vocab words
*We will continue reading Out of My Mind and continue applying differentiated skills to practice along with the story.
