*Fun Run Assembly is Monday! More information will be sent home with students the day of the assembly.

*Design Thinking Challenge: Special Olympics

Purpose: Specifically foster students' developing sense of empathy, and overall to learn about design thinking. Students will learn to immerse themselves in learning from experts.

*THURSDAY: Personalized Pathways Day - If you haven't already, make sure to sign your child up for their hour session of school this Thursday. During that hour, the students will sit with me individually and create goals based on their assessments they've been working on the last few weeks. The sign up is linked below.

***NOTE FOR PARENTS: All DLI packets will be due on Tuesday each week, along with a paragraph written by your student showing they can apply the skills practiced in the packet. They will not have DLI Tests this year although I will be collecting their paragraphs each month to assess their skills.

*Vocab packets are located in your child's vocabulary google classroom - their first vocabulary packet will be due on September 7th - this will also be test day for their vocab words

*We will continue reading Out of My Mind and continue applying differentiated skills to practice along with the story on Tuesday.

*Weather Tools

- Last Friday, the students created their own weather tools in class, this week we will be testing those weather tools - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it rains so they can truly see how a rain gauge works!
